Abstract

Breast most cancer is one amongst themĀ  common forms of cancer in Indonesian. It is surveyed that the rate rate in Indonesia is 12/100,000 ladies, in spite of the fact that in America it is around 92/100,000 ladies with a sensibly tall mortality of 27/100,000 or 18% of passings found in ladies. In image processing, to separate an object from the background is also called image segmentation. To segment breast cancer ultrasound images using Median Filtering, Thresholding: Entropy, and Mathematical Morphology methods. The stage of segmentation of ultrasound images is carried out by the filtering process using the image quality improvement method using the Median Filter while for the segmentation process using the Thresholding method : Entropy where the Thresholding value is obtained from the Entropy calculation as well as to separate the object from the background of the object and to perfect the segementation results using the Mathematical Morphology method. The test was carried out utilizing 10 breast cancer information comprising of 5 benign breast cancer information and 5 malignant breast cancer information, the comes about of this think about sectioned as it were approximately 80% of the information.
