Abstract
Gadog Village Sukamahi Village is a village located in Cianjur, West Java. The topology of Kampung Gadog is surrounded by rice fields so that the majority of people work as farmers. The low income of the community results in the condition of the community being less prosperous. To help the community improve their economy and see the abundant water potential and apply science and technology in Gadog village, the team will build a catfish farming pond. What needs to be considered for catfish cultivation is the timing of feeding on time, while people spend all day farming in the fields / in the fields because of the far position. To facilitate this, feeding will use an automatic fish feeder that is equipped with photovoltaic at the top of the tool. While the application of science and technology uses a solar energy-based DC water pump, where this water pump will be used for the pond irrigation process. For fish feeders in feeding can be set according to needs, where in this case the time setting is made every 5 hours. The pond used is a conventional pond with a length x width x height of 3m x 2m x1m, with a total of 4 pool units which are divided into 1 pond for nursery, 1 pond for growth and 2 other ponds for harvest ponds. And for the water pump that is used to drain and or refill water to the pool, a DC water pump is used with a pump output capacity of 180 Watts, 12 Volts. Harvesting of fish is done after the fish are 3 months old from breeding at the age of 15 days.
