Peningkatan Kompetensi Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Instalasi Dan Pemeliharaan Air Conditioning Bagi Karang Taruna RW 15 Duta Mekar Asri Cileungsi Kudul

Abstract

Superior competency is a must for any workforce entering the job. Every technician employed in the refrigeration industry must possess a Level 1 through Level 5 KKNI RTU competency certificate. Many people in Cileungsi Kidul Village, Cileungsi District, and Bogor Regency have lost their jobs as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. The issue is that not every layoff resident who plans to work as a refrigeration and air conditioning practitioner has refrigeration knowledge and at least a Level 1 competency certificate. The FTBE ITPLN Community Service program is being implemented to spread awareness of the KKNI standards for educating refrigeration technicians. Surveying, planning, creating socialization programs, selecting participants, creating socialization materials, and mentoring are the execution methods. Implementation of the training in cooperation with Duta Mekar Ari Cileungsi Kidul of Assaadah Mosque, RW15 Duta Mekar Asri. 25 persons attended the program, which took place on July 23–24, 2022. At the auditoriums of mosques and in the residences of participants, lectures and practical application are conducted. The knowledge and abilities of the participants in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioners have improved since the training, according to the results of the RTU Technician. The examination resulted in a shift in perspective as well as an improvement in knowledge and abilities for maintaining and repairing air conditioning chillers.
