Abstract

Electric vehicle technology is currently experiencing rapid development. Electric vehicles use energy sources derived from batteries. This is an advantage in electric vehicles because they do not produce exhaust gases. In thestamp duty, it is necessary to charge electric chargewhich will be used as an energy source in electric vehicles. Precise controls and monitors are needed to ensure the efficiency of battery use in Electric Vehicles. Efficiency is very important in Electric Vehicles. The battery monitoring system used by Electric Vehicles generally only shows how much electrical energy is left in Electric Vehicles. The battery charging process requires monitoring to determine the condition of the cell battery, Battery Management System (BMS), and energy management during the charging process.  All monitoring results are displayed in a GUI (Ghrapical User Interface) that is adequate so as to help the user during the charging process. This controller can receive data read by the sensor and transmit the data to the created GUI. In addition, in the charging process, energy management needs to be carried out so that the charging process can be carried out optimally. Energy management is carried out by making arrangements in the BMS section. The results of the analysis on the monitoring system show that BMS settings can speed up charging time. The time required for the charging process without BMS setting is 6536s, after setting it only requires charging time of 3860s. BMS settings are carried out by paying attention to the constant current and constant voltage methods.
