Peningkatan Aksesilbilitas Desa Melalui Pembangunan Pathway Menggunakan Paving Block Di Kampung Gadog, Desa Sukamahi, Kecamatan Sukaresmi, Kabupaten Cianjur , Jawa Barat

Abstract

Roads are one of the important infrastructures connecting land routes that function as infrastructure for the movement of vehicles, people, and animals. Kampung Gadog location is in districts of Sukamahi, Cianjur is in the hills, causing the infrastructure of connecting roads between villages in the area to be very minimal. The condition of the dirt road is difficult and dangerous because it is slippery to pass, especially when it rains, this makes access between villages difficult. In addition, the route to village facilities such as schools, village head offices, police posts are difficult to pass and takes a long time to get there. The solution offered for the problems of Kampung Gadog residents with hilly topography is to make pathways using paving blocks. Paving block was chosen as an alternative material to replace asphalt and rigid pavements. Paving blocks are non-structural concrete structures that are easy and fast to implement, easy to maintain, have a variety of shapes and aesthetic value and affordable prices. In addition, the use of paving blocks is more environmentally friendly because it is very good at conserving groundwater. With the construction of this paving block pathway, it is hoped that the residents of Gadog Village and its surroundings will benefit, including facilitating access and communication activities with surrounding villages, facilitating the delivery of village produce to other places, improving public services such as education, health and counseling. Apart from that, with the construction of this pathway, it is hoped that Kampung Gadog can further develop from an economic sector.
