Pemanfaatan Multimedia Untuk Sosialisasi Tanaman Buah Dalam Pot (Tabulampot) Guna Memenuhi Kebutuhan Buah Di Pesantren

Abstract

The need for food is increasing and the limited land in producing food encourages experts to innovate in agriculture. The method of growing fruit in pots or commonly called tabulampot is starting to experience a shift from conventional methods to more modern methods. The tabulampot system is appropriate for urban areas where every inch of land is calculated for its economic value. The tabulampot method has actually been around since 1970 and until now has experienced significant developments both in terms of technology and plant varieties. Tabulampot which is usually cultivated in limited media.The development of tabulampot is very rapid for aesthetic and functional reasons as well as having high economic value. The pesantren environment is a dense environment with students and teachers. In addition, pesantren have limited land. For this reason, it is necessary to cultivate plants that are in accordance with the pesantren environment, including tabulampot. The PLN Institute of Technology in carrying out one of the Tri Dharma of higher education wishes to provide counseling about Tabulampot to train students to grow crops effectively and efficiently. It is hoped that with the socialization of tabulampot using multimedia, the students can meet the needs of vegetables and fruit as well as train a spirit of independence and entrepreneurship, considering that this Tabulampot plant has the potential to be sold because of its good quality for health.
