Abstract

In construction projects, steel reinforcement is a material that causes waste. Therefore, ti t necessary to examine waste on a construction project. One way to optimize waste iron reinforcement material is by making a Shedule Appeal Bar or calculating bestat iron requirements with the help of linear programming to simplify and revise the reinforcement pieces that will be needed in the field. From the results of the optimization carried out, obtained savings in the reinforcement needs of the beam for each type that is equal to 0.27% for reinforcement D25, 1.36% for reinforcement D19 and 1.15% for reinforcement D13. This can be interpreted that the use of a solver in optimizing the beam reinforcement waste is quite effective when compared to the manual maintenance in the field.
