Pelatihan Dasar-dasar Pemrograman dan Website sebagai Upaya untuk Meningkatkan Minat Siswa pada Bidang Informatika

Abstract

Technological developments also have an impact on accelerating digital transformation. The need for IT talent continues to increase every year. Informatics graduates seem to be the prima donna that is being eyed by many in the industry today. The main abilities that must be possessed by a graduate in the field of Informatics include logic and computing abilities. Through community service activities, HIMAFORKA UPJ organizes free training for grade 12 students at SMAN 9 South Tangerang. The training materials are in the form of programming basics and website programming. This training aims to introduce, increase understanding, and increase students' interest in the field of Informatics. The training was held in two meeting sessions, the first session was an introduction to the basics of programming in a duration of 90 minutes, then continued with the second session, namely an introduction to the website in a duration of 180 minutes. This training provides benefits for students in terms of practicing logic and computational skills using the C++, HTML and CSS programming languages. The results obtained from community service activities were 8.2% very understanding, 36.15% students understanding, 52.75% students quite understanding, and 2.9% not understanding the training material. It can be concluded that students' understanding and interest in Informatics is good.
